23-05-2007 14:06 by PaddyD	They are lovely fish (more usually called Orange tailed though) They get to about 2" But are really a bit nippy for a comunity tank - I would avoid them if you have fish with long fins or that are shy. Best with barbs and fast tetra's, but indivdual can vary between peaceful and downright nasty. They are Goodeid Livebearers - so are different than most of the common livebearers like guppies and sword tails etc. and tend to give birth to fewer fry after a longer gestation period. Unlike poecilid livebearers, the mother provides nourisment to the embryo's so they are bigger when born. There are a few different poplulations of these available - the golden saddle ones are particularly nice. This group of
