heard bout this on radio this morning,picture this,its 1944,on an indonesian island during the 2nd ww, a unit of gurkhas has been wiped out by the japs except for 3, the commander, mr punn, + a fellow comrade, the japs are at the top of a hill encamped with machine gun posts etc,the gurkha commander gives the order to charge!so the 3 gurkhas charge up the hill armed with rifles, the japs open fire from the machine gun posts,within a few seconds the commander is shot + falls to the ground fatally wounded, 200 yds on mr punn's friend is cut down by machine gun fire, mr punn stops, picks up a bren gun from the floor + valantly continues the charge, he makes it to the top of the hill + single handed wipes out the jap unit!for this heroic courageous action he was awarded the victoria cross, mr punn is now 82 years old + has applied to enter this country, he was told he couldnt because he couldnt prove his connections to this country!what a complete outrage! i was almost in tears when i heard this story, + mr punn is not alone, there are many men who fought for this country during the 2nd ww who have been refused entry, + others since then ie the gulf wars...please go to the downing st petiton + sign to help this old fella get the recognition he so heroicly deserves...rant over cheers terry

That sounds about right for this **** hole of a country let every body els in  you wait tel soon it will be if we leave the country and want to return we wont be aloud.

agree its discusting, best bit is they let little toe rags in the country who cause havak on the streets, then someone who does HELP the country doesnt get let in, something is adding up to me |

Par for the course terry,i listened to this yesterday on talksport what a disgrace the old chap even won the victoria cross what more can you ask of the guy.This is what he should have done,had his hands cut off for theiving and had 2 hooks in place then ponced of the uk for 15years and own a £500.000 HOUSE for not doing a days graft in his life and encourage lowlifes to blow us up,yet the war hero who laid his life on the line gets crapped on,pretended he was a one legged roofer ,pretended he was a lesbian from jamaica who had 5 kids and after having the fifth decided to come here and realised she was a lesbo what a bunch of spineless politicians we have come the day and i would love to line these cowardly xxxxxxxxx up and send them somewhere where they belong. |

Just looked into that terry and on one of the sites it was calling for support for BRITISH prisoners being held in guantanomo bay ,amazing they were all out there on holiday at the same time and all of them are innocent ,what they moaning for 3 meals a day ,sunshine,free suits,and micheal jackson masks and they dont have to pay a tanner |

i care. thats case is discusting. they let all the 'undesirables' in but not the var veteran. whats our country turning into. i wonder how itll be when im adult. gives me fright |
