Have you recently changed to Npower via a bloke that knocked your door. Cos i changed my supplier and my bill doubled over night . then i realised N power charge 15p a unit. high rate and 11p low rate where as everybody else charges 8-9p.

but it could be your tank work out your watts , electric is charged by the kilo watt per hour.
so if you have 250watt halide X 2 = 500watts an hour 2 56 watt t5s =110 watt 2 300liter pumps = 160watt and 2 300 watt heaters =600 watts 1380watts (assuming heaters are on all the time) Thats 1.38 kilowatts an hour x by your normal rate .. for example 1.38 X 11 = 15.18p an hour . this is an example of how things add up i hope it helps |
