Porton have one in their Black Juwel Trigon as you enter the Fish section. When we enquired about a year ago they wanted around £850. Was still there at the weekend.

robinv is that a huge one at Porton? I bought mine from Porton just over 2 years ago & paid £100 for it.I know Gareth did have a huge one in but I thought that one had been sold. Im up their Friday if anyone wants me to find anything out for them

Sorry forgot to say hello, It is probably about 6-8 inches. Perhaps they were trying to put us off, if they selling at £100 we would have snapped his hand off.

jp i have a choiuce of two they are 600 each. bear in mind they keep rising in value as they are on the endangered list and not allowed to be imported.

Tracy, if you give the little guy some deep fine gravel or sand he will love nothing better than burying himsef in it when he sleeps. its what they do in the wild

Thanks for that tip Danny but you will never believe this. Ive had him for just over 2 years & up until Sunday he was on sandinitially & then on fine gravel & he never did bury himself. So,I decided that as I wanted to put a couple of fish in with him I would "decorate" the tank.
