Juwel Heater |

Hello again
Following from my post the other day regarding the ideal temp i now had an issue turning it down.
The heater is a Juwel 300w - it doesnt have a temp indicator on it, just a plus and a minus. The current temp is 29.1c - if i turn the dial all the way to the minus, the temp doesnt go down.
If i turn it to the plus it just goes around and around for ages.
The light to indicate that the heater is on lights up even when its fully turned to the minus, and the temp is 29.1c.
Do i need a new heater? |

I dont know if it's any help, but Monitors Direct used to sell a remote thermostat that you could use with a heater with a failed internal stat. I think it was about the same price as a new heater. |

The air is quite warm at the moment so turning a heater down wont make your tank cool down . as they dont have a chiller fitted to them . all my tanks are 28 at the mo and my heater isnt even on |
