hi, i was hoping someone may be able to give me some advise, i was having a problem with agression between the fish in my tank so we found new homes for quite a few of fish & they are all really happy know, so much so that my two severums have laid eggs on the filter in the tank, my first question is this a safe place for the eggs? they seem to be protecting the eggs quite well, but i was wondering if anyone knew how to but a divide in the tank to keep the eggs safe, the tank aprox 1.5m long they share it with a jack demsey, a nircarigas(spelling?), a firemouth, sleeper gopy, a jewel, sucking loach and a plec, what percent of the tank do the sevrums need, so the other fish also happy. thankx jem |

oops! hopefully they will move the eggs prior too free swimming, assuming your tank full of assassins doesnt get them first. bet the plec gets them? |

get red of the pleco to start of with, as it sounds they have never laid eggs before i would put a few pieces of slate in the tank because they like to move the eggs about if they get threatend, you will notice the male and female will start fighting with each other this is normal behaviour,
you should realy put them in a tank of there own if you want to start breeding them properly. |

there are already pieces of slate in the tank along with bogwood and rocks, i don't have a seperate tank to put the severums in this is why i was asking if anyone knew how to put a divide or seperator in my exsisting tank. |
