Hi there everyone my ne tank is looking a bit emty but i dont want more fish i want to get some live plants, but as its a goldfish tank i dont know what plants would be best, it's a three foot tank with two smallish fancy goldfish and two comets. i need plants that the goldfish wont eat (is there such a plant!!) and that would be suitable for an unheated tank any ideas??? java fern and java moss will thrive tina
i keep it with my fancy goldfish there are others in my tank but im not sure of their name |

you could try online stores like java plants,they advertise in the practical fish keeping magazines.
i found the java fern works well atatched to a small bit of bogwood as the roots dont need to be in the gravel |

when i had goldfish![a long time ago now]i found the only plants they wouldnt eat were plastic ones |
