I was wondering if anyone knows of a Flowerhorn on sale? i would like one of reasonable size (not HUGE, not minute)& at a sensible price. As I am in Yeovil i would like one as near as possible to reduce the risk of travel damage limitation. Thanks

My Lfs in Coventry can get them for you they used to have them in stock all the time but its not a very big shop so they dont have them in store anymore but you can still order them. I seen one in there a few months back he was 6-7 inches with good colours and he was priced at £14.99. But this is quite far away from Yeovil but id thought id tell you anyway.

The tank you mentiond will be ok for a while but if you get a male which are possible of reaching around 15-16 inches then maybe a bigger tank is in need...but females dont grow very big maybe 8-9 inch at the most..

hi tracy i got your message, i have a spare female flowerhorn, she is 4-5". Before you get all excited though i have to say all my flowerhorns are breed in the U.K. so they do not come up to the standard of Dereks. (nice fish by the way Derek). I will try and get a pic for you tomorrow.

Hi stuart,I did not want a "show quality" one. I have just fallen in love with them & would love one.A couple of questions for you please.
1. What colour is she? (Not that it matters)
2.Where in the UK are you & would she make it without too much stress to Yeovil?
3. What sort of price are you looking for?
Many thanks again to everyone for all your help!

Tracey, below is a pic of her when she was 2", she has gone rather dark at the moment due to the light in my tank being off most of the day. Im in London.
She would survive the trip to you no problem, i had a fish brought to me the other day that was in transport for 7 hours. I have never sent fish before so am a bit under confident in sending it. I do also have a couple of others but they are 7-8" in size. im looking for £10 for the smaller one and £20 for the bigger ones

Hi stuart
Heres my mobile number or I can call you? 07731 765 007 I am VERY interested! Can you have more than one in a tank? It looks like you have a couple in this tank? I guess the 7" would be too small in a 3` tank?

Sorry I meant too big in a 3` tank
