Hi all can anybody tell me what fish this is had about 2 months now and shop did not know exactly what it is,found similar but not exact,in my reef tank at moment but not sure if reef safe??

Hi,it is a cream angel apolemichthys xanthurus,larger fish will graze corals.

i dont think it is a apolemichthys xanthurus iv just had one and looks nothing like, looking at that mouth i wouls say some sort of Chaetodon

another i have seen is a klein butterfly i agree it does look more like a fish from the chaetodon family...

oops didnt look properly,try Chaetodontoplus Mesoleucus,I have seen them as Singapore angel

hi telboy tank is 21x18x18,with weir sump at back,deltec mce 300 skimmer two powerheads and return pump from rear,150 watt halide light which runs from remote ballast in cupboard,filtration is done by living rock,basically runs its self,live stock,percula clown,the angel,pistol shrimp,boxer shrimp,dancing shrimp,loads of snails clean up crew,oh and my star fish,all been running now for 18 months.
