can you run the units without mains presure ?,i need to move it out of the kitchen into the bathroom as its in the way with all the containers. |

Needs min of 40psi, You can buy booster pumps for them if the pressure is to low. |

im sure it would work best with a booster pump....to get better preformence from the membrain/waist water

if the water is warm/hot surely this means that the water has been in the hot water storage tank and they are made of copper , i thourght you should'nt have copper around a marine tank, ( maybe i should have said it was for marines sorry ) |

its on a cold supply however ro membrains work best at a certain temperature to preform to their full potential ( sorry for bad spelling) |

When your feed water is very cold, RO units tend to slow down in production rate. They are designed to run with water that is closer to 78° F, which just happens to match our aquariums. Here's a way that will get things back up to speed during the colder months
