could someome reccommend the best lighting to show off my discus colours

you should use lighting your fish are at ease with,if you make it too bright they may become stressed and never show at their best,a broad spectrum is best because they will have a wide range of colours to be reflected back so a wide range of colours shone down is best something that replicates daylight or with a pink edge works well

also the colour of your background will have a efect on how bright your fish look, the difference between blue and black backgrounds make a big difference
the blue reflects light much more.
