hi
try feeding it crushed frozen peas(defrost them first)lol
there is something in peas that can help fish that have dropsy.
i know it sounds strange but i have used them b4 and it worked(might have just been lucky)
best thing to do is give it a try.
good luck

Usually bacterial, sometimes viral causes.
Internal problems with the fish physiology would also cause dropsy. Kidney infection, leading to loss of osmo-regulation.
Anti Internal Bact and salt are really the only possible remedies.
Isolation of the fish and raising temp slightly as well might help.
I wouldnt feed when treating for dropsy, it sounds quite advanced if scale loss. |
