I want to buy a new filter for a new setup and am stuck between a Rena xp3 or Tetratec ex 1200. What are peoples views on these two external filters and can anyone help me decide. |

Hi,I have been using a Tetratec 1200 for over a year and have to say I am very impressed, the flow rate remains high,it is easy to clean and restart and is quiet, excellent for the money and has out performed the Eheims and Fluval that I am also using. |

Hiya Thomas, I also recommend tetratec ex1200 because I use them and sell them too - and I can beat zooplus on price hands down and I also sell replacement media - have a look at my advert on retailers & services - it is the first one on the page about ruto frozen foods |
