12-07-2007 12:28 by veda	hullo all, i have a Marina tank and i think that the lighting that is built in to the hood is broken, i know it's not the bulb, as i've tried my spare. and it's not the starter motor for the bulb as i have tried a new on of those too. I believe it is 16 UK gallons (the dimensions are H15" W12.5" L24.5") i noticed someone else here had a problem replacing a hood as it has been discontinued but there wasn't a solution posted! has any one any ideas of where i could get a replacement or any alternatives i use? many thanks from a newbie!
12-07-2007 13:32 by telboy	hagen make marina tanks,i know this may sound daft, but have you checked the fuse?or the on/off switch? i had one the wires had come out in e switch,ps welcome to the site
12-07-2007 13:52 by veda	ah i did not know hagen made them... wonder if they do a hagen in the same size, i shall go and have a browse. er... fuse? you mean in the plug? hadn't thought of that but i tried a new starter motor which lit up so i assume it's ok. i've been considering taking it apart and looking at the wiring but i think that's a last resort as i may end up destroying it completly! thanks for the advice, and for the welcome!
