14-07-2007 16:34 by robh	returned from malta to find my tank has overflowed all the fish dead mainley angels and bosmani rainbows , the tank stunk and there was scum all over, as it is heated by ug cable am reluctant to pull it all to bits , have a few corrys left in it but am doing massive water changes but it is still milky can any one suggest what else i can do, am tempted to stip it out completely, and start from scratch , but just wi community, fish, not only did it buggar my tank but my floor, its the last thing you want to c after a holiday
14-07-2007 17:03 by robert.pope	is it on a auto-top up then? what was the cause of the overflow it might be worth saving the fish you have in plastic tub's along with some water and do a total strip down! the tank would smell from dead-rotting fish after the tanks refilled declorinated and let settle i would give it a few days before adding a few fish ......you can aclimatise them like you would new fish from a shop...... good luck
