what fish have you in there at the moment?
it looks big enough ......remember they require very good water |
14-07-2007 21:45 by tasha
|
r discus a very hard fish to keep ? |
14-07-2007 21:49 by -Rob C-
|
No you couldn't keep discus in there, they couldn't keep compete for food against the other cichlids.
Again I'll ask what are your water conditions? If they aren't soft and acidic then discus won't be suitable. |

tasha Discus tend to be more of a specalised fish.......even more so than Angle fish
what fish do you have at the moment in there? |

keyholes festivium and rainbows |

Wierd, 'cause I could swear those cichlids on the last pic are convicts.
You'll have to find out your water conditions before you even think about getting discus. |

By the looks of it deffinately part convict, if not completely. I'm amazed the other fish are still alive in that tank, there's no chance discus would be safe in that tank! |

You cant keep discus in there with them, but empty the tank of them and discus will be fine, discus are not hard to keep , you obviously know how to keep the water right and that is all you have to do, there is a misconseption that discus are hard to keep and this isnt true, and they dont need water changes as often as people say, its the same as most cichlid tanks, be careful on stocking etc etc, |
