Robert.pope i keep telling you your loach is better in my tank!!! PS he looks lovely!!!

Thanks ROB C ive entered my tank in PFK website, hey it might even get printed! (I wish!)

Been about working all over the country but back in sunny devon now with a few weeks rest before i start new project.. no rest for the wicked i think!!!

Ive got a theory i wanted to pass round though. Ive been away from my tank for just under a year and i know the faint harted ones, should really stop reading now!!!!
But in that year ive done maybe four mayor water changes, i have two very powerfull externals running (Which ive cleaned twice in a year), two O2 inlet pipes and feed them on a garlic food, for which the name has escaped me.

I havent had a single problem with anything in my tank (TOUCH WOOD!!!)Has anyone had a smilar experience? I know by the book it says 25% every two weeks for a tank stocked such as mine, i mean i have 17 clowns, 3 blue loaches, 2 chains, 1 YO YO, three convicts, plec and six giant danio's. So that is a fair amount of fish in my Trigon 190. But the water conditions are spot on, fish have showed no illness, sluggishness (is that a word?) or anything. Is it 5 years of experience or *** just LUCK???

I don't perform water changed as much as I 'should', yet my fish are healthy and even breeding.

I know that is really odd i think. I think the more u leave ur fish to it the better, i mean it must be stressfull for them to have something messing the tank around every two weeks!!!

i found that when i missed a couple of water changes both pairs of rainbow cichlids bred???

my convicts aswell, they never stop breeding, which gives my clowns some great enjoyment as they eat the fry!

YES YES CRUEL I KNOW!

Face it, would you be spawning if some huge hands and a waterslide happens every two weeks???

clowns are good indicators of bad water conditions anyway....theyll change colour when their stressed or unhappy with something or other so im sure that would help you....at the minute i do 30% every other day on my main malawi tank ( only because it is overstocked) and 25 every two weeks on my others

Woz if ur right and looking at the colour on my clowns, who we know are sensitive they are all ok!

30% every other day, that will kill my back and waterbill!!!

haha...long story really, basically i got a lot large fish free which were going in my tank but after a day there where three sets of fry which were pat out so my tank is for the lil guys and all the big ones are in a tank on their own...
