hi my large reddevil has took a likeing to my mabuna puffer , the red devil is digging out and they sit side by side is this a known freindship or are they getting ready for war on whos tank it is lol . or can fish be freinds without agression cheers |

Tracyanne fish sitting side by side is not usually a sign of aggression! Is the Red Devil "flicking" or "shimmying" in front of the Puffer? This could mean aggressive intent or "showing off".
Looks like they just "mates" it happens. In my exeprience in different species getting "close" it doesnt last, thats not to say they will "fight" just that they will go their own way after a while. Be great if it did last though. |

RED DEVILS SEEM TO TAKE TO FISH OF OTHER TYPES (NON CICHLID) WE HAD TWO AND THEY LOVED TO SIT NEXT TO MY BABY RED TAILED CAT (VERY COOL COS BABY REDS ARE FAIRLY DELICATE)CHASED EVERY OTHER THING WITH A TAIL SO HAD TO GO EVENTUALLY???? |
