for the snails or Ed?
Ed, however nice your tank, the snails found it a better option to fry themselves than live in it

sorry Ed, i sympathise with you in this time of deep distress, you wanted a roasing though?
try the chemist, get one of those natural herbal remedies for depression (not that i ever tried them!) and crumble some in to tank, the last thing you want is the rest of the live stock getting the "fishy blues" |

Are they apple snails? Could be they are going to lay eggs? |

you appear to have taken a little stick on this, snails cant feel heat they dont know they will cook ? most likely attemting to lay or breed maybe even hibernate? best i can offer p.s my oscar wants me to ask how much you charge for two weeks full board |

I had the same issue with my apple snail - they go up out of the water to lay eggs and then got fried under the light.
You will have to use a condensation cover to stop them getting out. |

i may be wrong, but me thinks ED'S talking about marine snails. |

I'm sure I read somewhere that some marine snails lay eggs above the water line. It could be that they are going to breed, but aren't cooked before they get the chance. |

are the snails getting toasting on the lights then Ed?
if so, simple.... turn the lights off period, everything else might die BUT, the snails will live, problem solved |

I dont think this would be any good with a tank plus mixing water and a bit of leccy will do you any good ,maybe a picture of a hungry frenchman would do you know what the frogs are like with snails. |

|
also ya got the issue of the copper contaminating the water ed!as ya know, marines + copper not a good mix |

So dont buy it then?
I was going to get some put stop the snail cralling up my tank and into the next tank.
I have a 4 foot tank split into 4 with glass. |
