has anyone ever seen a internal filter that is designed for a specific tank to be camoflaged, for example i have a malawi tank and a tanganyikan tank. With me, i like my tanks to look like the fishes actual habitat, so no castles and skulls in any of my tanks unfortunately, just loads of rocks and a coral sand bed, but theres just one thing that always stands out, and thats the filter, now you can hide it to some degree but wouldnt it make sense for someone to make camoflaged filters which are specific for each type of tank....you could have green camo in a planted tank and most normal community tanks, and in a rocky malawi setup you could have creamy coloured filters......its just something id like and ive never seen before, and if anyone is making them can someone give me their address,...if not i trademark the idea hows everyone else feel about this or am i just being stuuupidd

Get an external filter. Then you can cover the intake pipe with fish safe silicone and roll it in coral sand.

Great idea!

Personally - It's why I always bought Eheim, at least they are green (kind of a trade mark) and blend in with the planted aquarium.

I dont know what the manufacturers were thinking when they launch their new design of internal filter. It may look like something from the latest Bond movie but its totally out of place in the fish tank
