<b>I thought it would be good to hear what types of fish everyone keeps so that if you wanted to contact someone who kept similar to yourself, you could PM them.
For example, I keep Tanganyikan community in a 400ltr and have started to set up some breeding tanks in my garage for Betta, cichlids and endlers.
My daughter has a tank with shrimps in as well. |

I keep Oscars and Uarus in a Juwel 260, but will be moving them into a 440 litre tank once I have moved to my new home. I have had them a few years now and they are doing well. I feed them dry food in the morning and frozen prawns and green food in the evenings. I will want to get some bottom feeders but will see. |

i keep adult tropheus dubosi and ikola, ice blue cichlids, tropheus red cheek( mostly young ones) auratus(all breeding, lots of fry) bumblebee cichlids, damansi?( not sure on spelling) breeding pair of bricardi + young) bristlenose catfish with around 20 young ones at around an 1-2inch), some young yellow labs and young frontosa, also around 10 nice sized peacocks that i bought as young but now believe them to be a cross so i might get rid soon as i dont want them to cross breed with some of my other fish which look alittle similar in appearance + alot more that i cant remember the names of off the top of my head....all the fish are spaced over 3 tanks but im getting a big community tank soon hopefully when the house get sorted |

I have a 6ft tank with 4 big red oscars and some cats.
My other tanks have betta splendens in them. I enjoy keeping and breeding bettas. I have a tank of about 100 babies, nearly 3 weeks old, from cambodian half moons imported from Thailand. I also have some giant bettas. These are a selected larger type of betta splendens, twice as large as normal ones - they are massive! These are next on the 'get them breeding' list. Fascinating. |

Yes, nics are nicaraguense cichlids, brown acaras are just as they say, elliotti are Thorichthys elliotti aka lesser firemouth, sajica are Cryptoheros sajica aka T-Bar cichlids and the loiselles don't have a common name, Herichthys loisellei and jaguar cichlid Parachromis managuense. |

Im relatively new to keeping fish bought a 2nd hand set up a while back complete with some fish, would love to set another one up but getting hold of tropical fish in my area is hard going a lot of the local pet shops dont stock fish, & as I dont drive im limited to where I can go, have 3 angel fish, 1 clown loach, 1 pleck, 1 red tailed shark a few neon tetras, tiger barbs, black widow tetras & some gold coloured ones that look a little like goldfish but I think are another kind of tetra oh & one female siamese fighting fish, like silver sharks but dont seem to have much luck with them.
Tank is approx 3.5 ft what other fish could I keep with the ones I have? tried guppies & platties but one of my other fish not sure which killed them |
