its funnt, but uve gota feel for the poor sod, looks like someones ripped it face off...probabky someone using barbed hooks

Its nothing to do with being caught before, its deformed.
Plus barbless hooks cause alot more damage to carp, they move around alot causing big open gashes. Alot of fisheries have now banned BARBLESS hooks. I think this is best on waters fished by more experienced anglers but on noddy carp puddles barbless are still best dispite the damage they cause due to the fact their come out alot easier. Hope that makes sence and heres a nice carp I caught this year
