My oscars are showing the signs of pairing up, they have even laid a batch of eggs. They are acting agresive to their tank mates, I really need to seperate them however hav'nt the room to do so. How easy is it to introduce a 9-10 inch Oscar to a new tank if i wanted to get rid of one, and how much are they worth at this size. |

It depends a lot on how nice a fish is - but for that size I would expect to pay about £15 in a shop, So I suppose a private sale a bit less.
They can be introduced to new tanks, but it will be easiest if the new tank contains non territorial fish. |

for as much fun as it seams to allow your oscars to breed you are doing the right thing by not allowing it, there are to many oscars in the marketplace anyway. if you want to move one drop the temp in the new tank to 70f move all the decor around and put it in at night |

Hi Thomas, i would agree, you probably wont get much for the oscar, ive been offered about a third of that for mine |

Thomes did you decide whether to breed them or split them?
My red oscars seem to be pairing off. i may have the same dilema.
