did you not see all the fish sucking for air at the top of the tank? and the other Malawi picture, whether you over stock Malawi or not, thats no excuse for packing your tank that full of fish. I just think the pics are disgusting. Atleast he's selling the tank and fish, but is the next person going to think its okay to keep fish like that? Pictures like that should serve as evidence that the dude is a wrong'en for looking after any animal, can you imagine taking a picture of your fish desperately seeking oxygen and then using that picture for the advert, what a twat, moron, fool |

I don't see the problem, as far as Malawis go I'd say it's well stocked. And as for "all the fish sucking for air at the top of the tank", there's a few of them doing it and if you can look closely you can see flake floating at the surface; the fish are feeding not gasping for air.
Personaly I think the fish look good and healthy and the advertiser is no twat, moron, or fool, but perhaps you are. |

agree with rob c on this occasion, Alan seems like to have a bit to learn about malawis before you go judging. |

looks alright to me the other thing the points to feeding not gasping is that its the smaller fish at the surface if it was an oxygen problem it would be the big fish gasping not the small ones and the fact big are at bottom points towards most of the food being consumed already the big fish get in first and the small one then get in afterwards when it is safer to do so.
No problem there they do look quite heavily stocked even by Malawi standards though but all appear healthy. |

Take a look on this site as well:
http://www.malawiforum.co.uk/
I go on both forums as well as this one and recommend both sites to anyone with Malawi & Tangynikan fish - both are friendly with some very knowledgeable folks on there. |
