Well now i have upgraded my filter to a fsx from A jumbo juwel from my trigon i have people telling me to no bother with sponges in the fsx ( i still have my jumbo running) and just put live rock in the filter along with some Phos removers nitrate and ammoia ect.. i have plently of live rock. Does this sound SAFE ! also if it is how long untill i can compltelty remove the jumbo or will the fx5 not need the maturing as i have live rock ?? |

just move the media from the jumbo into the fx5 and it should take over fine |

i shall not put the sponges though .. because thease will make it a nitrate factory ??? or what should i do ? |
