Guppys, red mark on heads |

Hi all, I need help (again!!!)
I have lost 2 male guppys this week, when I have looked at my other 2 adults I have noticed a red mark on their heads under the skin. any clues? could this be whet is killing my guppies? many thanks Christian |

any clues??? have lost 3 out of 4 now. all my baby guppys are fine and not showing any of the symptoms that the adults have |

Seriously though, i have just had lots of guppy losses.
The best treatment seems to be putting salt in the water.
Get some aquarium treatment salt from the LFS, its about £1.20.
Make sure that if you have any other fish that are not guppies they are okay with salt in the water. |

water is 7 on the tests and I always add a bit salt with every water change |

Have you tested nitrite?
What else is in the tank with them?

How old is your tank set up, have you recently changed or amended your filter and what is your amonia reading? |
