How big is the tank? Can you show a wider shot.
I keep thinking the next step for me is a small marine tank. |

tank is an orca tl450 nano only holds 58 litres bso as for wide shot! piccie 4 is a wide shot! as for ease of care its a lot harder than trops,ya need to be a chemistry graduate but after a near wipeout + losing a few bits i think im on the up with it,bl oody expensive though! |

|
what live stock do you have in there then now Mr MarineBoy? |

|
Great Tank mate. When you say expensive, how expensive |
08-09-2007 13:26 by telboy
|
live stock consists of a pair maroon clowns, bout 10 hermits,3-4 snails, unknown crab,oyster[48p from asda],feather duster worm,+ the corals[all softies],i wanna upgrade to maybe a 36x18x18 but as i said, marine is a lot more expensive than trops, and more work involved, but saying that i think that a good marine tank is more interesting theres so much to watch,i sit here for ages just scanning the live rock for wee beasties, always summat new... |

lookin good how long was it before you put the CUC in after setup ? Mine has been running about 8 days now with 51kg live rock and loads of live sand. Some interesting freebie critters beginning to appear too. I wish someone had told me this would need lots of spare cash |
09-09-2007 14:49 by telboy
|
hey duckie,so noone told ya bout loadsa spare cash being essential eh? as for cuc,i was lucky,ed gave me this setup[very nice fella]fully mature, with water etc,all i did was slowly add a few bits to it,but i believe once ya params are ok then ya can add ya cuc, then once established start adding ya fish etc,but ya prob better off on the other site asking these type questions |
