ok you have a poor fish?
make a cheap hospitol tank for a few Pounds???
i use a clear plastic storage tub with own lid (£2- £5 from woolworths/wilkos)Small sponge filter with airline Algarde Bio Foam 45( £4)
if its tropical a small heater....say( £10 max)
when its not being used put the sponge for the filter in your display tank to keep it mature and store all the rest in the storage box for the next time!
this will save your sillicon from staining in your main tank!

Dont ask!
5 out of 8 are dead. £ are still alive, and seem to be recovering.
I have 1 female and 2 males. HOPEFULLY if they recover i might get a litter from them - and then at least not all's lost. If not then next time i have some spare cash, im going to go outside and post it down the grid It might be more satisfying. |

if ya got big tanks + wanna use plastic plants, dont pay out a fortune on plants from LFS go to pound shops, use the plastic/silk ones from there...kids playpit sand instead of aquatic sand...most peeps are willing to do swopsies so ask before buying stuff...buy food in bulk instead of small tubs...ask advice on here or other forums before buying overpriced fish... |

Instead of buying the costly tank dividers for a tenner, nip down to you local craft shop, they sell the plastic perforated sheeting for a quid, get some of the cheap plastic spines from a stationary shop used for holding sheets of paper together for a few pence, cut to size required and off you go |

freecyle is brilliant - i do agree though sometimes it can be annoying.
The moderator in my area sometimes only authorised the posts one a week. I have had 150 emails in one go from freecycle. |
