I tried it and it seemed to be OK.
I found a better product though API Tap Water Condioner - it is much strong and lots cheaper per gallon. Used it now for years. |

In my opinion and research and also what others say SEACHEM PRIME is the best water conditioner and funnily enough as its so concentrated over the course of a year its much cheaper than the Tetra Aqua Safe, there's a good link comparing all the water conditioners, i will try and find it. Google Seachem Prime Telboy, there's not many sellers on e-bay but there are a few.

Yes its blue. I used to buy it in 5 gallon bottles.
Some sellers buy them in 5 gallons and then sell it off in smaller amounts to make money - that sounds as what you have bought.
I have always used it and had no problem. My discus even laid eggs with tap water and tetra aqua safe. Its blue and see through - if that makes sense, and yes its the consisty of fabric softner.
Im about to stop using it now. I have just bought a HMA fiter. I only have about 200mls left. |
