Fish ID, calling malawi experts i think :) |

Ive just recieved a few fish of someone whos shutting down their tank, ive seen them in aquatic stores before but cant remember their name for the life of me, they look like demasoni, but instead of vertical stripes they have horizonal stripes, all the colours are exactly the same, the pic i post below will be a demasoni if i can get it to work, cheers |

Hi, have a look at Melanochromis Johanni or M Cyanerohabdos Maingano,these are the only black and blue horizontal striped Mbuna I know of. |

when i find the digi camera ill get pics of all of them, been looking for a while, its here somewhere..ive got a shoal of demasoni in my tank(the one in the pic, lovely fish ) |

Sorry lads but this is johanni . that is a pseudotropheous zebra.not sure which island it is native to but its deffo not johanni
the stripes are the wrong way . Sorry if i have walkied in a wind up and spoilt it .
