19-09-2007 17:16 by tasha	tbh i didnt no they were dyed i think what they go thru is cruel and i did talk to the lady about this but she wasnt 100% sure they were dyed but every1 is entitled to there own opinion

19-09-2007 18:30 by robert.pope	with you buying the fish from the little shop tasha shows that there is a demand for these fish! if everyone stoped buying dyed fish then the shops would soon stop ordering them ! i have read on PFK website that the old glass fish is hard to find in shops now that its not being dyed

19-09-2007 19:59 by Fry Lover	Dont worry Tasha, just give the fish the best home you can and concentrate on that, if you want to worry about the bigger picture of dyed fish then you can choose to..... or choose not to..... up to you....... People can only encourage you to consider the bigger picture and leave you to make your choice about it. Perhaps someone would like to start a new thread on the ethics of dyed fish? It would be educational i am sure. Tasha, that Calico Convict is beautiful in your tank, is it the only convict? hopefully yes, if you keeping a community! I normally dont like coloured gravel, but i think your tank looks nice, how big is it?

It might just a normal Calico Convict, but its the shape is kinda suggesting its could be a hybrid i think

19-09-2007 21:54 by Fry Lover	nice video sooner or later the Convicts might get a bit cheeky with the more peaceful fish in there, although you might get lucky, sometimes when fry grow up ina certain environment they fit in better, but you cant take the Convict out of the Convict I like the colouring on some of them Tasha, how many you got in total? are you looking sell some? anything else for sale?
