just keep an eye on the ph when using ro
i didn't and could have payed for it.
checked it earlier as some of the discus were not happy
ph of 4 yes 4!!!!!!
had a ph crash

i have not lost any fish
but dont ask me how
have been changing water all day(slowly)have got the ph back up to 6.5
i will pay more attention in future as it could have been a very costly mistake
i will be reading up on using ro water+ how to buffer it against crashes

There are different additives to put back in RO water , i used tropic marin and this was very good, it also spurs fish into breeding but more importantly stabalizes the water.
