02-10-2007 16:42 by Elmo	Run a tank as long as possible with some ordinary tropicals and give the tank time to mature, invest in a ro machine and buy the minerals to put back in and they are easy fish to keep, look at chens discus for good quality stock, buy bigger (around the 3 - 4 inch or bigger if you have the funds because you can have more problems with the smaller ones, get the best filteration you can and have it planted, they love it

03-10-2007 18:48 by Elmo	Great fish arnt they lynrak Ed , buy the best filteration possible for the size of tank you buy, get a tank that is deep as these fish from the right breeder can grow big, i have had fish over 8inch , bigger the tank the better as everyone on here will tell you that it is more stable. if you can use two filters, one internal and one external, this is always good practice on any big tanks, anything else i can help in give me a shout
