Here is one for the fish gurus of time gone by.
I stumbled across a book at a charity car boot sale.
The title is "Fly Fishing" by J.R. Hartley...........LOL
No sorry wrong one, its "Exotic Aquarium Fishes" by W. Innes
I was interested in the chapter on live foods, in particluar a picture of keen US fishkeepers collecting daphnia from a pond in Philadelphia.
I was wanting to place the era of the picture, judging by the cars and leather jacketsits 1950's
The original version of Exotic Aquarium Fishes was published in the 1930's..... I was wondering if anyone had the original and confirm if this pic (pic coming soon) is in the first edition? |

After some searching in Wikipedia
I found that by 1966 there were 19 editions of the book, perhaps not the 2nd edition afterall.

I have passed the query on to car forums, it has been dated at 1932 for the black cars.
Only thing is your mans leather jacket looks around 1950's |
