lfs say they will eat the snails they say gat 1 or the other. |

dont worry about what the LFS say, do your own research on it, most LFS staff are minimum wage dossers |

there is a chance they will eat snails,but if ya get some red legged you'll be ok as they are fairly small |

ok cheers.i bought a 6045 tunze 4 more water flow as tric suggested and ill get some hermits 2day. |

In my experience some hermits will eat snails so be careful my preference over hermits would be cerith snails and nassarus snails they turn the substrate over and the nassarus are fantastic detritovores but they will get munched by hermits as they inhabit the substrate and dwarf blue legs love eating cerith snails in fact most shells that dwarf blue legs inhabit are cerith snails.
The only snails you can get away with hermits with are medium sized turbos these are to big for the hermits to bother with. Cheapest source of quality clean up crew I have found is www.reefcritters.co.uk |
