ive just bought myself 30 tanks for the up and coming fishhouse....ill be trying to breed mostly malawis and tangs, amongst other community fish and catfish,,,ive got some ideas in mind for the type of africans etc im going to keep, but not much of an idea for the plecs, ive got about 20 bristlenoses already, so theyre going in a tank on their own when its all up and running, ive also got some S.Multis (cuckoo catfish ) that im going to have a good go at breeding when the get to a reasonable size, but apart from that im stuck with what other catfish id like to keep( must be able to breed in captivity, even if its a challange ) so any ideas please people would be great, aswell as any success' that youve had with your own catish

Heres one for a challenge, Sturisoma Paramense the Royal whiptail. Expensive to buy at about £15 to £17 but easy to breed. The challenge is to raise the fry. Could also try the bubble nest catfish Hoplosternums. I bought 6 to get a pair and sods law operated, I have 6 big fat females about 6". Good luck with whatever you decide, their all fun.

the cuckoo catfish need to lay their eggs amongst those of another fish hence the name cuckoo. the fry are then raisd by the other fish but grow at a faster rate and predate on the other fry.
