Good flow but media capacity could be better, but as the filter is oversized for the tank i dont think this will be an issue.
If it was filtering the maximum size it was meant for and it was fully stocked then it would be |

Anyone else?? If not the FX5, what would you suggest for my 400ltr tank? Got 2 x 405's at present, but keep seeing the FX5 in Maidenhead and each time it becomes harder to leave the store without it |

Anyone got a figure on the media capacity for the FX 5, i know on my Eheim 2028's it's supposed to be 7.3 litre, just wondered what the spec is on the FX 5
Well, well according to a couple of sites i just cheked out, its 5.9 litres and if thats the case i am quite suprised, thought it would be higher, although perhaps its high enough?
I know Yanton rates them high, or he did the last time he mentioned them |

I had one and raved about it, but aftew a few months the digital timer went and so it became unusable as it would stop for hours on end. shame. |

Was it not covered by warranty? |

im using perkys fx5 at the mo on a 6x2x2 and to be honest i dont rate em that much, the fluval 405 seems to do a better job,i think the media is very limited in the fx5 |
