hi guys, just noticed one of my cobalt blues has a very cloudy left eye (right one is fine) why is this?? I have done a 50% water change just now... what else can i do to help my baby

pH: 7.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0.25
Nitrate: 20

sometimes they bang themselves and it should soon clear up, hope this is the case

check your filters and look for uneaten food,cloudy eyes are usually related to poor water quality,your nitrite reading should be zero,also the PH is on the high side,can you test the GH and KH,as you may have the discus in hard water.

If she's taken a knock, melafix is a good medicinal treatment for cuts, tears, cloudy eyes, etc. It's basically tea tree oil so no nasty chemicals which can only be good.
