first photos of my fish ever, theres alot of fish i cudnt get in the photos because they were hiding and i cudnt be bothered to wait for them, most of the fish are breeding and ive got a few fish in both tanks with young in their mouths, im sure anyone who keeps these fish will know, they hide when holding so i havent been able to get any photos |

theres 3 tanks there including the fry tank, the tank with the most plants in it is done like that for the fry to hide in, because most fish in the longer tank top out at around 2inchs or so, when i have a large female from the other tank holding, i transfer it to the longer tank and let it release the fry naturally if i can, its surprising how many of them actually make it, tank dimensions are 50" 12" 16" and 40" 15" 18" if im not mistaken, i aint going for a tapemeasure |

well i cant praise them enough, i dont regret taking the plunge to africans one bit, dont get me wrong i did love my community setups, but theyve just got so much character, often quite amusing to watch and with only having the tanks setup say 5 months, ive lost count of the sets of fry ive had of them, around 80% of the fish in the longer tank are fry which ive grown on |
