Hi all
I really hope someone can help me here! I want to fit my tank with a couple of T5 lights - however i need them to be 18" in length! I have searched everywhere for them but i really cant find any anywhere!
Does anyone know where i could find them? |

you wont find them in that lenght nearest is 22" t lenghts are different from t8 however you can try the sites from china and hong kong on e-bay as their sizes are all different as i had t5s that were 34" long but only gave out 20watt so be carefull if you do order from them the t5s that are 22" give out 18watt |

Hello,
I would suggest you buy a 'Interpet Compact T5 ' light set-up. I've got the the smallest set of lights they make on my nano reef and they are 12" in length. The power output is 24 watts. You could go for the slighter longer/more powerful t5's at 16" and an output of 36 watts. Including the light holder, that would take the length to about 18".
In total, I paid about £25 for both the light controller unit and T5 light.
Lots of on-line stores and large retailers stock them. Also, as telboy said, you could always look on e-bay.
Hope that helps |
