Hi Scott

I'd personally want something a little bigger than 100cm in length, and something that holds a little more than 270 litres (which that would) for my money.

Although i never really buy new unless its tank only, but i guess for a new price, for £369 it's not too bad

By the way, i am not too keen on the filters in the hood, i normally find they dont contain enough space for media, but you can always supplement with an external if required

I just think.... imagine what you can get on e-bay for £369, but i know some peeps dont like to take chances on e-bay

Yh i would definately use my external on it, im not a big fan of the in the hood filtration either.

The problem is i cant get a bigger tank because theres a table next to were it would go and they wont let me move it, so unfortunately 100cm is the maximum.

The reason i want it really is because i want my tank to look as good as your planted tank lol... the tank i have atm is ***, it has one light and no room to fit another in, its also pretty scratched aswell.

well with my planted tank Scott, i just got a tank made from new, it's 48" long, 24" high and 18" deep. That cost me £140 delivered.

I had a stand already.

I place the tubes on top, it doesnt look as good as a "cabinet" wth a "proper" lid, but its good enough and i can put as many light on it as i want, which is why i didnt want a Juwel Tank (all other tanks in my flat are Juwel), as then i could only have x2 lights

If i choose i can also go to T-5 lights this way, but i dont need to at moment

Ill have to have a think about it, before i make a decision.

This is my tank atm its only had the plants in for 3 weeks so they have alot of growing to do... i might just wait and see how they turn out before i make a big purchase like that tank
