have you wormed them?
White plop USUALLY means internal parasites like worms.
Discus need worming regularly. |

like the rest id say definatly worms try worming them with flubenol but be quick as its going off sale soon or normal worming tablets for cats and dogs and crush half up in some tank water and bath them in it for 10 min in spare tank |

mort i have had the same with one of my Discus
get some eSHa Hexamita and try
there is a chance of it being worm however i wormed mine and it had no effect. If your water conditions are not right this could cause them to go off their food.check for Nitrates! are the other 3 fine?

dont underdose on the flubenol or else it wont work , use more than it says to use, and it is still safe. |

jump on the worm bandwagon everyone and throw lots of medication at them, cos thats the way we keep fish these days . have you tested your water? , what is the temp in the tank ? is the temp stable? its getting cold at night does the temp dip? sudden changes can allow normally ineffectual parasites to suddenly affect fish ,have you seen worms hanging out of the fishes vents? have you changed anything else in the tank are they all affected ? (no) so dont jump to conclusions look closely at everything ,but do it fast cos they go downhill fast |

how big are the fish ? i have read that its sometimes difficult to get fish past the 2 inch stage?
bigger than 2 inches and they are more resistant!
How are they doing??? |

other three discus are eating well and swim happily around tank
read book about diseases (spironucleus and thread worm)treated tank with protazin acording to manufacturers instructions. discus are approx 2 inches
