did ya acclimatise it properly?ive been told ya should take a minimum of 2hrs to do this + very very small amounts of tank water added to the nems bag/box at a time hope it survives matey |

What salinity are you running at I'll be frank I have given up on nems best I have managed is 3 years and it just started to waste away i.e. shrink.
I have read that it is best to run as close to natural salinity as possible around 1.026 also ph and alk stability is very important to nems. Surprisingly though they are not to bothered if nitrates are slightly high as pressumably this helps the symbiotic algae.
As yet though I don't think you have anything to worry about if you aclimatised it properly over 2 hours you should be fine. |
