Its a *** nightmare, just carried out the regular monthly maintainance on one of my Tetratec 1200, and *** thing starts to leak, I dont believe it, it isnt even a year old, I get seriously frustrated I replaced my fluval 305 after less than a year because it started to leak and now my tetratec is leaking. Can anyone please please give some advice of what the hell I am doing wrong, or can anyone give me an idea of a extenal which is realiable. Its not like the things are cheap either, I was seriously thinking of giving up fish keeping all together.

Looks to be from one of the clips, have checked to see if there is anything obstructing the seal but can not find anything.

try a new seal as they do sometimes go complain to tetratec and if you still have the recipt for the filter they should send a new one straght out
