30-10-2007 14:28 by Lnrak	I have a pair of discus, had them for just over 2 weeks now. They are fine and in great condition, kept in PH around 6.5 and 29oC. I can't get them to feed on anything else apart from the frozen beefheart mix I have made. I'm concerned that they should be eating something else apart from beefheart. I have got every other dry food you can think of - 4 different types of flake, pellets, granules etc. - but they won't even look at it. I end up syphoning it out before it grows fluff!! I was wondering if a diet of beefheart only could be harmful long-term, and any ideas to get them to eat summat else would be helpful!! Should I starve them for a day, and try it that way - or is that cruel? Thanks people.

30-10-2007 16:21 by kevyb	try mixing in some of the flake and granule along with a bit of crushed garlic that always gets them going, in with the beef heart mix and re freeze it into cubes and they most definatly eat it
