Post a picture I've never heard of one of these what sort of set up is it used on; pond freshwater trop marine or what.

Give a description of your problem as there are at least 2 forms of bacterial problem either not enough good bacteria or to much bad bacteria and whilst insufficient good bacteria can be blamed on the design of a filter and the media used to much bad bacteria in my opinion cannot as this is normally down to a failure in the maintenance regime some where i.e. insufficient water changes, over stocking, allowing the filter to clog up etc etc etc the list goes on.

Post the problem and we will try and help.
