Think I read that soem have thought to have been dead, but they were actually ok. I know when I had one about 5 years ago (when it finally got over its 'just put in the tank at home so guaranteed to get white spot' phase) I often thought that it had passed away or was ill, but no, its just one of their traits |

I have 3 of them. They DO lie on their side very often. I have a tunnel where they all congregate - they all lie together!! I thought it very odd at first, but it's normal, don't worry |

i've got three clown loaches and they all lie on their sides as does my largest pakistani loach i'm pretty sure that they're just relaxing sometimes they don't move for hours |

Nothing to worry about they're just relaxing, although it's very easy to worry when you first see it. |
