seriously,
CONVICT CICHLID, i know, i know, somewhat "ordinary" but i have had some great fish keeping moments with these fish!
I am also developing a real attachment to my Reed/Rope Fish and my Bichir's

im with mr lurver,convicts are so easy to care for, my favs, but also gotta male red devil, that when it was a wee lad, used to follow my every move, always fed from my hands but since hes paired up + bred, has turned into the meanest mutha fudger ever, every time i put me hand in tank he rips another layer of skin off |

Either, my angelfish pair, because its amazing to watch them spawn and raise young.
Or, my featherfin syno, had him since he was an inch long, now he's quite a bit bigger!
Or, technically not a fish, but dwarf frogs. They are the most entertaining things to keep.
