Hello
Can you anyone recommend a pump that sits outside of the tank.
I have added 2 more tanks to my breeding setup. However the tanks are 2 inches from the floor. These tanks are not drilled.
I usually siphon the water from the tank, but as these 2 tanks are low i cannot.
Ideally i want to put some kind of pump on the end of my hose to pump it out, including the dirt from the bottom.
I just bought one of those pumps you attach to your drill but i don't like it.
I was just wondering if anyway else could recommend something please? |

i have a couple of low tanks, i use a powerhead with a hose attached ,pop it in put the other end of the hose where you want the waste water ,plug it in and switch it on, bob is, as they say, your uncle you may need to put a strainer on your inlet. any external pump will likely need you to syphon to start it and may be pricey |

tey fitting a power head to a coke bottle with the bottom cut of, then fit hose to the out pipe of the power head long enough to reach a bucket or drain. you now have a power gravel cleaner that will work any where as long as the water covers the power head. |
