Recently my apistogrammas started flicking against deco in the tank and the gravel. I thought it might be white spot, but i didn't see spots on the body. Then a few days later, i noticed that the male apistogramma developed a mark on his head. I thought maybe it was the slightly bigger fish that inflicted this, so i removed them from the tank. I bought some females to accompany the male, then a few days later one of the females developed a similar mark around and above her eye. A short time after that, the other female developed the white mark on her top fins.
The male now spends most of his time on the bottom of the tank behind some plants, whereas the females are their normal self’s, but have continue to flick.
My tank is mainly a community set up, with a few guppies, endlers, scissortails and the apistogrammas. Yet none of the other fish are flicking.

Could this be the early stage of 'hole in the head’???
